Ben stayed with Gran and Doda Friday night since Jack had early morning swimming lessons on Saturday. I think that Ben had a very good time. He got to have some "quality time" with Doda. Gran also got to see how much this boy can eat. I think she was slightly amazed, of course, Jack ate just as much. Someone say a little prayer for when I have two teenaged boys...I'm going to need a second job! Benjamin is getting so big! On Sunday I was sitting on the floor with him and I really think he might be about to sit up all by himself. He is getting very close. I cannot believe how fast he is growing. It seems like we were just bringing him home from the hospital!
Me and my Doda chillin' on the porch
Jon and Jack had boys time on Friday night and Saturday. Jack had a minor run in with the couch...the couch won. He now has a big goose egg on his head. They came down to the country on Saturday afternoon to have dinner and pick me and Ben up from Gran's house. Farmer Jack of course had to take a stroll around the garden and pick a few tomatoes. It started raining and that just started a whole new game. He loves to be outside. Tonight I had him out on the porch while I was trying to grill some burgers before the bottom dropped out. He had his soccer ball in one hand, the garden glove on the other hand and was pushing around "Chomping Mike" his toy lawnmower. It was quite interesting to say the least.Swimming lessons are now over and I am proud to report that it is official, we have a fish on our hands. I really cannot believe how much Jack has learned over the course of the summer. He has no fear! Mommy on the other hand almost has heart failure every time he jumps off the side! I cannot wait to see at the beach in a few weeks, we are going to have SO much FUN!
